September is National Suicide Prevention Month. This Tuesday, September 10th, is the World Suicide Prevention Day. People in the community come together to raise awareness for suicide prevention. In 1958, the first suicide prevention center opened. Advocating for suicide prevention led the United States to create a prevention plan in 2012, called the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention.

At BPJH if you have concerns about this topic, there are counselors who can give you advice and try to help you get through this.  Remember, lots of people here at BPJH care about you!  BPJH also has clubs such as Club Live and I’ve Got Your Back, which can help you get to know great people who are willing to help you.
