BPJH health clerk!
Every school or at least every junior high needs a health clerk. Our health clerk is our staff for when you feel sick or when you get dress coded. Her name is Ms. Rivera.
If you do not feel good, go see the health clerk, because you do not want to get more sick. Also, if you need medicine daily, then she is the one to take care of it. If you get hurt, then she has first-aid ready for you. Make sure you have your hall pass signed by a teacher before you go see her. Here are some helpful words from the health clerk. Her advice is to “eat healthy foods” and “get a good amount of sleep” to stay healthy so, make sure to do that. She describes herself as just easygoing but she is way more than that. She is kind, caring, and fun.
Disneyland is also something that Ms.Rivera likes. She calls herself a “Disneyland freak”. She also likes to read in her free time. She cares about every Stallion’s health and if you have any questions about your health, please go to her to answer it. My friend Fatima says,”I want a trustworthy and organized health clerk.” Well, lucky for her, that is also what Ms. Rivera is. My mom says she “wants a health clerk that is understanding and that feels empathy.” Ms. Rivera is also very understanding about your problems and knows how people feel because she has seen lots of different health problems. So, make sure you are also nice to Ms. Rivera if you visit her in the office or see her on campus.
Make sure you are not seeing the health clerk for getting dress coded! Follow the dress code and make sure that you DO NOT wear any sleeveless shirts, shorts that are shorter than the tips of your fingers, or no leggings. The dress code is very important. You can not wear ripped jeans. Also 8th graders just because you were allowed to wear ripped jeans last year does not mean you can wear the this year so do not wear them. Dress code is important and it does prevent you from dressing inappropriately at school.
