National Daughters Day is celebrated on September 25th, but some people celebrate it on the fourth Sunday of September. Some countries celebrate Daughters Day on October 1st, and World Daughters Day is September 28th. National Daughters Day is to celebrate the happiness our daughters have brought to our life.

The initial reason to have a National Daughters Day was to erase the stigma in some countries that are attached to having a daughter instead of a son. Fathers and mothers alike should celebrate National Daughters Day with their girls; whether that be relaxing or going to a party. Parents give presents, chocolates, fresh flowers, dresses, jewelry, and more. Let’s remember to celebrate our daughters on Wednesday, September 25th!
