Daylight Saving Reminders

Darine Dizon, Staff Writer

Daylight Saving Time ends on November 3rd.  It’s the practice of turning the clock ahead as warmer weather comes and back as it becomes colder again so that people will have one more hour of sun in the afternoon and evening during the hotter season of the year. About 70 countries observe this activity, including most of America.  Hawaii and Arizona don’t change their clock times.  Another fact is that crime rate goes down, reducing the chance of people’s property being robbed, less laws being broken, and the cities are safer.  Next year, the start of daylight saving time will be on Sunday, March 8, and the end of it will be on Sunday, November 1st.
