The Color Red

We all see red as a color that expresses blood or the color of a heart. The color red has much more meaning to it than we thought it did. This hue represents much more, such as love, violence, or adventure. The spiritual meaning signifies action and fire, or the joy of life. The shade can be positive or negative, however you see it. Red was one of the first colors, along with black and white. The red pigment originated from Europe, Africa, and Asia. The shade of red was first made of ochre in ancient times. The red color of blood comes from protein hemoglobin. Some red fruits are colored by anthocyanins. What’s your favorite color?
