To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You

This year, fans have been waiting for the new Netflix original movie sequel, “To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You.”  The original movie, “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before,” describes a young girl named Lara Jean, who was always shy to confess her feelings to people.  One topic in particular are her crushes.  Due to her extreme shyness, she wrote letters to each of them, with their addresses included, and kept it in a teal, velvet-covered round box.  After the first day of her junior year, her sister, Katherine, Kitty for short, decides to go into L.J.’s closet, and finally mail all her letters to the boys listed.  Each of the boys in the movie finally confront the girl and Lara Jean finally finds a partner.  However, one letter recipient has not confronted her about the letter, and the second movie continues that.  John Ambrose, someone L.J. went to model U.N. with, finally comes back, and coincidentally meets her again.  Although the two are friends, they are quite close, and her current partner, Peter Kavinsky, is now taking their relationship to the next level, and finally making things clear, and they’re now official.  The two movies are definitely worth watching, and it is recommended not to start with the second movie, because of the large amount of characters and the girl’s pasts with each of them.
