8th Honors Fieldtrip

Maria Valenzuela, Staff Writer

On November 3, 8th grade geometry students went on a field-trip to the Huntington Library. On this field trip, they saw Japanese, Botanical, and Chinese gardens. In these gardens were a variety of different plants and fish. Aside from the gardens, there were different types of art in the library, such as sculptures, paintings, old work tools, and modern art. Some of the sculptures were life-sized, while some were able to be held in your arms.

I found the gardens most interesting compared to the other things. It was peaceful, included colorful fish, and different plants. One area had a walkway surrounded by tall bamboo sticks. The fish there were multi-colored, such as orange, pink, and white.
