On December 14, Net Neutrality was officially repealed by the FCC, the part of our government that regulates things like TV, movies, and the internet. What exactly is net neutrality you may ask? It is the basic principle that prevents internet service providers from speeding up, slowing down, or blocking any content, website or apps you want to use. Unfortunately, this has been taken away from us by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) by a 3-2 vote. What does this mean for us? This means that you may experience slow internet on a certain website, or not even see that website at all. That’s not all, they can also block websites and even make you pay more for better internet services. At this time, it looks like the whole thing is going to court.
