Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA)

Noor Francisco

The Drug Enforcement Agency, also known as the DEA, is an agency that enforces the controlled substance laws and regulations of the United States. Aside from that, when carrying out a mission, they are responsible for being prepared for any investigations that involve persecution of any major violators such as international drug dealers. The DEA is also responsible for making sure that criminals and drug dealers aren’t affecting the communities by terrorizing citizens through fear and intimidation. The DEA has a very important job to make sure that we are all safe and that all laws are being followed. Without the DEA, our world would be filled with chaos. DEA officers keep a very low profile when going on missions to make sure they don’t scare away the criminals. They dress in their normal clothes, not in uniforms, but they always have their badge on them so they are easily identified by fellow DEA officers. The DEA is a very important organization that helps everyday people just like us, stay safe.
