Are you running out of ideas for a Halloween costume? Well, here are five unique costume ideas that you can make at home.

#1: A gum ball machine

For this, all you need is a white shirt, some pom poms for the gumballs, and a red skirt/pants. Glue the pom poms onto the shirt, and add a 25 cent sign for extra detail.

#2:  Arthur the Aardvark

For this childhood character, get a white blouse and a yellow sweater, and pair it with some blue jeans. Now add some ears, and you’re Arthur!

#3: Boo from Monsters, Inc.

You’ve all seen this iconic character, Boo, from Monsters, Inc. You will need an (oversized) pink shirt, purple leggings, white socks, and hairties with pom poms. Put your hair up into ponytails, and add a teddy bear for fun.

#4: Rosie the Riveter

Rosie was an iconic character during World War II, and this requires a blue button up, blue jeans, boots, and the red headband. You can also hold up a sign that says, “We can do it!”.

#5: A ceiling fan

If you want to spice things up and get punny, go for the ceiling fan! All you need is a shirt, a marker/paper, and cheerleading pom poms. Spell “Go, ceiling, go!” on the shirt with a marker, or if you don’t want to draw on it, cut out the letters out of paper and tape it on. Add a sign that says “Go ceilings!” Or grab some cheerleading pom poms and you have a fan-tastic ceiling fan costume!

Put on your costumes, and have fun!
