Montana Paxton, Staff Writer

We all know that stress is very common for teenagers and is even common in adults! Stress is a state of emotional strain due to difficult circumstances. You may not think stress does a lot to your body and mind, but trust me, it does. Stress can effect the body by causing low energy, headaches, upset stomachs, aches and pains, chest pains, insomnia, frequent colds, and infections. Some effects mental wise are becoming easily agitated, feeling overwhelmed, low self esteem, avoiding others, constant worrying, racing thoughts, forgetfulness, and poor judgement.

Don’t worry, though, because there are plenty of ways to reduce stress. You can reduce stress by exercising, laugh, spend time with your family or pets, talk to someone about your problems, and listening to music. You can also meditate to relieve stress.

I hope you now know how to relieve stress and what it does to your body. I also hope this is helpful and will provide you to be less stressed.
