As you all know, the Holocaust was terrible for Jews, but that is why we have International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27. Even though it’s a day to reflect on a tragedy, we celebrate this day not in vain, but in happiness. You can celebrate by visiting a Holocaust museum and donating to them, because museums are a big part of us knowing our history, preventing a repeat of bad times.  You can also help Holocaust survivors by volunteering in a Holocaust survivor shelter, or help survivors buy food, clean up their house, or just have a conversation with them!
