Junior Chess Congress

If you aren’t aware already from the Morning Announcements, the Chess Club went to a tournament on Sunday, February 24, called the Junior Chess Congress. There were 5 rounds and six of us who went. In total, we won 9 and a half games.  An 8th grader named David Alvarez won the most games. Overall, our school won 5th place. If you have donations to help the Chess Team, please go to room 55.  All donations will be going to the trip to Dallas for the Chess team.
