(;Waffle Review;)

Up in Lake Arrowhead, there is one waffle house you DO NOT want to miss! Recently, I went on a family trip to Lake Arrowhead, and stayed in a nice cabin for a good 2 nights and 3 days. On the day we were going back down the mountain, my family stopped for brunch at the  Belgium Waffle Works. This restaurant is located on the dockside of Lake Arrowhead village, and is open Monday-Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. On weekends, they are in service from 8 am to 5 pm. From my personal experience, there are two house dishes that my sister and I ordered, that I think are the best!

Of course, we both swapped half our waffles to share. My sister went a sweet route and had Strawberry-Banana Royal (Belgian waffles topped with strawberries, sliced bananas, and vanilla cream to top). I went more of the savory road and ordered a Benedict Belgian, a new twist from a regular egg’s benny. My Benedict waffle came layered with Canadian ham/bacon, two poached eggs and was covered in the most heart-warming Holandaise sauce.  In addition, I added avocado slices and they put olive garnish by accident, but all in all, was very tasty!

If you ever plan on taking a trip there, I highly recommend Belgium Waffle Works for a nice, hearty breakfast/brunch. There are tons more on their official website: belgianwaffle.com. This was another food article by yours truly, stay updated here for more tasty stories!~
